What we collect

When you create an account we collect the email address, password (stored only as a secure one-way hash — never in plain text), and any optional name you provide. We also keep basic usage records such as searches performed and companies added to your watchlist, which are used to operate features like alerts and to enforce plan limits.

The employer data

The workplace-safety records shown throughout OSHA IQ are public government records published by the U.S. Department of Labor. They are not personal data collected from you and are not covered by this policy's account provisions.

How we use your information

  • To provide, secure, and maintain your account and the service.
  • To send transactional messages, including watchlist alerts you enable.
  • To enforce rate limits and subscription tiers.
  • To detect abuse and comply with legal obligations.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email with third parties except processors strictly necessary to run the service (for example, email delivery or payment processing), each bound to protect it.

Your choices

You can turn off alert emails at any time and can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
